Incapacity Planning

Incapacity Planning

Incapacity planning is the area of law that helps individuals put a plan into place in advance of their possible incapacity. It is not just for the elderly! This can include a temporary period such as a medical event or a permanent event such as dementia or other forms of legal incapacity. This includes drafting documents that allow someone to serve as your agent for medical or financial decisions, the creation of trusts to care for you, advanced medical directives, and even a nomination of guardianship for yourself or your children.
